Doja looked sensational in her long black dress from Alaïa, which cost $5,760 and nearly reached to the ground and hugged her stellar figure.

The slim look featured a single long sleeve and exposed her other arm, which was decorated with several thick bracelets, also from Alaïa.

The skirt only covered a single leg and flared modestly at the bottom, revealing her other up to her hips.

The rapper (born Amala Dlamini) gazed seductively into the camera to show off her impeccably made-up face and her wed shoulder-length tresses.

Doja looked ready for a day of stylish travel in a $7,200 brown leather Fendi coat and matching belt, which she wore with a wing-like Area headpiece.

She looked edgier in a $1,000 ruched black jacket with puffed-up sleeves and a frilly white blouse underneath featuring a collar that reached up above her head like a brace.

Doja paired casual and classy in a $1,750 black Courrèges overcoat, plus laced-up thigh-high black boots from the same brand that ran for $5,500.

In her interview, the singer–songwriter delved into her famously online persona, which she seems to constantly share with her fans.

‘I put a lot of things out there about myself. I’m just constantly on live. Sometimes I look at myself and I’m like, “Well, if you could just f**king turn off your phone for, like, five minutes….”’ she joked, even though that connection to her fans fuels her.

‘When I’m getting creative in any way, I like to see what people think of it. I’ll be like, “Should I do this hat or that hat?” Or “We’re going to do a ’90s-inspired makeup thing today.” Or “My wig is falling off the front of my face. Do you want to watch me reapply it?”‘

Doja, who used to spend hours online sharing her beat-making process with fans, joked that her online presence isn’t as serious anymore. ‘Now I just go online and scream at people, and that’s kind of a fun hobby for me,’ she set with a straight face.

That openness seems to be a secret to why she connects so well with her followers.

‘There’s no formula to win, but I think there’s a formula to lose,’ she opined. ‘If you don’t believe in what you’re doing, people aren’t stupid — they’re going to pick up on that real quick. You just have to believe in yourself. It really sounds like some s*** out of The SpongeBob Movie, but it’s true.’

She has previously gotten flack for her online presence, such as in 2020 when footage leaked of her apparently participating in a racist right-wing chat room.

Her strategy to get past that and other crises is just to ignore it.

‘I just turn off my phone. I delete things and re-open them when I’m ready. That’s kind of how that works for me,’ she said matter-of-factly.

The singing and rapping skills have allowed her to skirt the edges of pop and hip hop, but she shared that the latest album she’s working on will edge her back into rap territory.

‘I have been getting songs and things sent to me…. Oh f***, I wish I could tell people!’ she gushed. ‘There’s some really cool stuff that I got sent from friends. They’re all working on beats, and I’m giving them notes and they know what I want, so I’m excited.’

Even though her collaborators have begun work, she said she hadn’t started assembling the album yet due to her other commitments.

Doja also shared that she would be interested in expanding her reach beyond music.

‘I’d love to act. I’d love to be in movies. That’s a massive want for me,’ she revealed, before sharing her already obvious talent for comedy.

‘My one hidden passion is stand-up,’ she said. ‘I get nervous just like anyone else, but it feels like it could be a natural, fun thing to do.’

The interview, which was done prior to Doja announcing that she was canceling her tour dates with The Weeknd to recover from tonsil surgery, included her plans for the upcoming summer months.

‘I’m going to finish this next album, and then I’m going to get the f*** out for a second. I want to disappear for a little bit and just do things like wear slides and go to the farmers market,’ she shared. ‘I don’t give a s*** about vegetables, but how fun! And I want a dog, too. It’s f***ed up that I don’t have a dog. It’s not fair. I want to take care of a dog. I want to raise it and run around in the grass and touch it.’
